Water Back up coverage...do I need it?

I recently had a conversation about this coverage. Most people think that if your tub overflows, sump pump stops working or toilet backs up all over the place, etc that it is automatically covered. This is usually NOT the case. Usually this coverage is excluded (not covered) unless the endorsement is added on (the coverage is added on).
So, toilet overflows and you have toilet water all over the carpet in your master bedroom as the bathroom is attached, and you have water raining below to the kitchen. It usually is NOT covered unless you had the coverage added on to your policy. Do you know if you have this coverage? I can take a look for you. We can do a free, no obligation review of your insurance to make sure there are no coverage gaps!
